St. Mark’s has just submitted a grant proposal to the Daybreak Fund, a partner with Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District, for funding a green roof for our new parish hall. This is one of several ongoing projects to find outside funding to help our parish with the costs of the building. Sandra McLellan led the work on the grant application.
In addition, the capital campaign committee is actively seeking help finding grants for the ADA-compliant/accessible features of our building (e.g., elevator, accessible ramp, and entrance door). We are hopeful that we will be successful in finding alternate funding sources through grants to help us create the building we want—healthy, safe, and accessible for all.
