Be Still: An Evening of Contemplative Prayer — first Friday of each month, at 7 p.m.
As each day comes to a close, the church traditionally gathers to give thanks for that day’s gifts and to pray for our needs and the needs of the world. This summer we invite all to gather for contemplative prayer each first Friday of each month at 7 p.m. The candlelight service will include meditative music, scripture, intercessory prayer and time for silent reflection.
‘Be still, and know that I am God!
I am exalted among the nations,
I am exalted in the earth.’
The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our refuge. (Psalm 46:10-11)
