The Gathering is a community of guests, staff and volunteers united by a common goal: to feed the hungry in mind, body and spirit.
The Gathering provides 10 to 11 free meals each week, cooked on-site at four Milwaukee locations, to those who would otherwise go hungry. They also offer services associated with ending hunger and homelessness and work to educate our community on hunger issues.
St. Mark’s participates in the mission of The Gathering in several ways: providing groups to serve meals several times a year, fundraising, and serving as leaders in the organization.
PB & J Days
Every four to six weeks, we gather after the 10 a.m. service to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for distribution at The Gathering sites. Please join us in making 300 sandwiches for The Gathering food program for the homeless and food insecure. Here are the next few scheduled dates:
