Friends in Christ,

Beginning this Sunday, St. Mark’s will offer two choices for Sunday worship. For the next several weeks (pending massive changes in COVID case counts), St. Mark’s will offer a Zoom service at 9 a.m. (similar to the Sunday Zoom service we have been using this entire pandemic) as well as an in-person worship service at 10 a.m.

The 10 a.m. Sunday Eucharist will be held in the Memorial Courtyard and be followed by a socially distanced fellowship hour. Please enter through the main red doors on Hackett to access the courtyard and remember to mask up. If the courtyard exceeds 40 people, we will ask folks to use the Parish Hall and Bride’s Walk as overflow spaces so we can continue to keep some space between worshippers.

Additionally, in case of rain, we will cancel the outdoor service at 10 a.m. and just have our 9 a.m. Zoom service. It is my hope that by mid-summer or fall we will be fully back in the sanctuary as the vaccine effort continues apace in our state.

Please also note that our Wednesday evening Eucharist at 6 p.m. will begin meeting in person beginning April 21, masked and in the Sanctuary.

No sign-up is required for either service. If we begin to exceed capacity limits, we will add another Sunday Eucharist to help with the overflow.

I’m really looking forward to seeing many of you in person.

Keep the faith,
Ian+
