Sunday School
We offer Sunday School programming for ages preschool through grade 7. Throughout the school year, our Sunday School meets in our bright and spacious second-floor classrooms during the first half of the 9:30 service. We begin with a brief prayer circle, proceed to lessons taught by parishioner-teachers, and end in time for the children to join their parents at communion. Sunday School lessons follow "Living the Good News,” a liturgy-based curriculum that allows the children to "read" the same lesson as their parents. Children are always welcome to join with their families at any service at St. Mark’s. We welcome visitors!
In our baptismal covenant we are asked, "Will you continue in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in the prayers?" And we respond, or our sponsors reply on our behalf, "I will, with God’s help."
We offer many opportunities for Christian Formation at St. Mark's for children, youth and adult members of the congregation.

Children’s Formation
Mark’s Bistro
We gather together on Wednesday evenings for food, fellowship and formation - apart from our Sunday worship. The fun begins with a low-cost ($7), simple super served at 5:45 p.m. The program then begins at 6:30 p.m.
The material varies throughout the year. Past offerings have included the discussions of current books, programs to discern spiritual gifts, the examination of basic Christian doctrine and practices, and the study of Anglican church history and theology.
Childcare is available.
Men’s Fellowship Group
This group of men meet in St. Mark’s kitchen on the third Saturday morning of every month to laugh, feast, and pray.
Women’s Book Club
This group meets and discusses books related to religious and spiritual issues.

Adult Formation
Journey to Adulthood
The Journey to Adulthood (J2A) Youth Program is for students in grades 8 through 10, and meets after Sunday church services. We follow the Episcopal J2A curriculum, which is part of the Journey to Adolescence series by Leader Resources. This curriculum includes spiritual discussions, prayer, and time to share what we are doing throughout the week.
Students in J2A also perform outreach by participating in a number of activities, including serving at the Lenten Pancake Supper, selling pumpkins at St. Mark’s Pumpkin Sale, and walking in the “Crop Walk” to raise money for the hungry of Milwaukee.
